Just got this little "hatchback" off of a mate and I'm gonna try and get it

Up and running in time for deutschland @ modified nationals in may.

Wish me luck.

That's a Breadvan and your gonna have your work cut out with the rear arches lol!

lol, those wheels will never fit without some insane arch work up back.

I'll put up some pics when there on the car...

I bet I get em on with the tinyest of arch work.

I done it on my old 6n with no arch work

Logbook says VW genesis coupe....

That aint no coupe I'd check all the vins match and match the log book before doing anything!

Those are MK2 Polos, MK2 and MK2F both had Coupe and Breadvan bodies. As mentioned above check all the VIN numbers and shit, that's not a Genesis nor is it a coupe. By the way you should sign up to Imgur or Photobucket; you're going to run out of storage space real fast using the attachment thing.

Thnx for your help mate.

I'll look over the logbook etc

The only thing thats different from the coupe model is my

Rear arches are square not round....

Do some research ffs.

Rear arches are square not round....

That right there is your problem

Easily get 9's on a 6n.

people struggle to get 6's and 7's under breadvan arches.

and lol yes, defo check logbook/vin out

...The only thing thats different from the coupe model is my

Rear arches are square not round....

The roof skin is longer

The gutter trims are longer

The tailgate is different

The rear lights are different

The rear bumper is different

The rear quarter glass is different

The interior quarter cards are different

The parcel shelf is different

The parcel shelf supports are different

I'll stop there...

Basically everything above the floor pan is different from the B pillars backwards.

This does have Genesis glass, in fairness.

Logbook definitely says polo genesis and all numbers match up.

Gonna put on some 195/45/13's

So I'll have a nice stretched tyre.

Polo Genesis would be a valid model ID, but if it says the body style on the logbook is Coupe, there's something very, very wrong somewhere!

Green glass?.... Looks to have been modified at some point in it life that may not be original either...

All of the glass except the windscreen has the registration etched

Onto it, so could be all original?

Good luck! my last bready was rolling on 7's with rolled flared and pulled arches and it still wasn't 100%

the only way to fit them is with new arches and good luck finding some square ones haha

On the other hand... if you pull it off fair play and good luck to you sir!

9.5J's are on and are looking good, arches only required

the smallest amount of rolling.

just gotta lower it a little bit to get them sitting pretty.

pics?
