Squeaky Front suspension (Wiahbone bushes?)

Featured Replies

Looking for a little help or point in the right direction.

When driving over bumps the Polo's front end is squeeking. I've been told it more then likely the wishbone bushes.

Been told to upgrade to Ibiza Cupra Bushes and replace the Wishbones while I'm at it as these are prone to splitting.

If your guys agree, with the upgrade advice, anyone know the relivent part numbers and where's best to get hold of the Ibiza Cupra parts to fit my Polo (main dealers always feel too expensive).

Thanks

Yeah common problem is the rear lower arm bushes (console bushes) I've got the same problem on my fabia vrs at the moment. I'm just going to polybush them. but the seat upgrade seems to work for people as there a solid bush rather than a part/spider bush.

hth.

Just taken a look at the PollyBush Site

Looks like a good option.

Does anyone who's upgraded to the Ibiza parts have additional advice?

I've got the cupra bushes, I bought mine from 'dark side developments' iirc as I don't have a seat dealer near me. They cost me around 20 pound. Poly bushes are probably better but it depends if you can justify spending that extra money on them

Here's the link to the ones I Bought. http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/prod...seat-ibiza.html
