So, within the space of 12 hours and with the help of an Orbital Sander I have managed to get it all sanded down and ready for the painting!

I am getting a new passengers door so thats why it's not sanded down :p Also, serious amount of rust on new boot, took the badge off to find heaps! :( No holes though like the original one, so all repairable :)

It was haha! Because I was using the sander so much everything I touched after felt like it was vibrating

It was matte black when I bought it so I'm putting it back to red :)

Still in need of a new door though, cant seem to come across one :/

Are you going to block it level before painting?

Nah, the guy who is spraying it for me told me to just get as much black off and get it smooth then he'll take over!

What I'm paying him for after all :p

I'm still having to do parts by hand, like under the bonnet, inside the boot etc. Using the sander just made it so much easier/quicker over the big areas

Oh you're doing the underside of the bonnet and boot too? NIce to see it being done properly. What about the engine bay?

Its too much hassle to do all the bay :/ I would like it done but would put the price up and make it more awkward.

Its not black it is red so not too bad, maybe eventually Ill give it a wee touch up :)
