Anyone got any sun strip ideas for me?

I don't want one like this (BIG LOL) but need something to keep the sun out of my eyes as i removed the original ones to try and light weight it an extra 0.5g ha.

Instead of a block colour strip could you not get a tint type strip?

Nah seriously can you not get like a tinted screen, or save you all the bother and get a universal tint of life... Sunglasses?

I find it odd that some manufacturers seem to think it's a good idea to raise the windscreen halfway over the roof, when the sky shouldn't even be in the driver's focus.

Maybe it's just a french thing, but pigs can't see the sky and drivers don't need to either.

Makes far more sense to bring the roof down lower. So if your roof is gloss black on a white car, then a gloss black sun strip should look right at home..?

Sun visor? Also is it really worth it for how many sunny days we have.

Can you not get tint top screens for the Polo? I've had them on most other cars I owned, even old Capris.

If so just bash it with a hammer and get a new tint top fitted under insurance. You'd have to pay the excess but it's not that much on most FC insurances.

Check first and for the record I did not suggest this...

Pretty sure the insurance would fit standard back on.
