Hi,

My polo is cutting the boost under a period of load.

If you turn the car off and on again - the problem resets until the next period of load.

Iv had the car plugged in to the diagnostics and this is what it said:

17965 charge pressure control positive deviation p1557 intermittant.

Can anyone help with the remedy of the problem?

From Autodata as it's not listed in Elsawin Turbo pressure- control limit exceeded Causes:- Hose connection interchanged/not connected.

Check the charge sense lines for any splits/cracks especially the one going to the N75 valve

Thanks for that, where is the n75 valve on one of these? All I can seem to see is a big black box on the top of the drivers strut with about 6 small lines going to it in one block. Cheers

My golf has the same symptoms apart from

It's charge pressure negative deviation or something.

Check for air leaks, and vacuum hoses.

I cant locate that as per the illustration above.

This is where all my vaccums run:

Iv had a good look for leaks from the vaccum pipes but nothing obvious.

Its geeting frustrating now!

18 - Banjo bolt, 15 Nm

19 - Seal Renew.

20 - Hose To charge pressure control solenoid valve -N75-.

So the remedy is to replave the seal behind the banjo?

The picture gives you the starting point of the pressure sensing pipe for you to follow back to the N75 valve, the banjo bolt and the seals might need tightning/replacing

No problem. I take it that Vac line goes to the black box I posted a picture of does it?
