Dispute made on PayPal

Featured Replies

Just thought i'd put this on here incase any of you know him. Basically ordered an alternator from him which needed to be sent asap, sent the money on the 18th of March, was told it would be sent in the post and i'd get a tracking number. Week later I said it hadn't arrived and I have not recieved a number, he said that he had not yet sent the item as the Post Office was "snowed in". I let that go as we did have quite a bit of snow, then another week later, I was told it was in the post and i'd recieve the tracking number, asked about the number the week after that and was told there is no number to give. Confused at it all, I just accepted it and waited some more. Finally ater it still not turning up I asked him what was going on and he said it was in the post and he will refund my money, if it turns up I get for free as he doesnt want to make out hes ripping me off. If it had arrived I would of sent the money straight back as I'm not having him put out of pocket for a mistake, yet the money was not sent back to me and I've not had contact since. Now put a dispute in on PayPal and been told I have 20 days to resolve the problem directly with him.

After a long rant I would now like to say I'm after an alternator for my 1043, unless I can find somewhere to get the coil redone. Which evers quicker and easier as its been a month since the car has been off the road. Cheers all.

Hi mate, was hoping there wouldn't of been other people having this problem. I have not yet made a claim as I've just put the dispute through. I think a claim will have to be my next move as its been a weekish since he said he will send the money back. If ou dont mind m asking, how much was it you sent him?

Seems people are using this site as a payday loan ,without the interest!

I have an alternator if you want it  I'm not a scamming knobhead either, just a normal run-of-the-mill knobhead  Plus I'm not that far from Crewe anyway!

I'm sure there was a Ryan something over on uk-mkivs who kept scamming people a few threads on it

Possibly Ryangti or the like, poss the same person

I've thought this! I fell foul of the infamous jbob last year, fucker still owes me 44 quid

You never got back to me on the style of alternator you needed? If its a big 3 pin plug on the back buy the one off Phataz. its not far off brand new, If it looks like the picture below buy mine. Or buy Phataz's and get him to include the wireing loom so if it is different you can just swap the loom. between us we have you sorted. :)
