My Gti! ultraleggera needed!

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm a noob to this forum but I've just got myself a new Gti.

I need a used ultraleggera 16" rim or a decent set of alloys for around £120 so if anybody has some let me know.

Cheers,

Burge

Owned the car since Monday and covered around 500 miles.

Absolute minter for £850!!

Drives mint, suspension is killing my back from the potholes around where I live.

Council need to get off there arse's and fix them!

Anyway, small update.

Not sure whether to do the VW and GT parts of the badges the same color.

Please give me on some feedback on whether I should because I'm two minds whether to or not!

Coilovers should be here mid week so that's where the fun begins.

Anyone with any alloys going reasonably cheap please give us a PM.

Burge!

looks good dude. what colour would you be doing the badges if you did do them?

I was thinking purple but I'm not sure whether it would be to much. My mates sorting me out a sticker to cover the badges first. Then if I like it I can go for the spray :)

yeah man that should be pretty cool.

what might work is do the I purple instead of red and paint the inserts of the VW badge purple but leave the face chrome? just my opinion of course :)

Quick update!

Managed to get myself a set of alloys that I like for £100.

The guy who I've bought them off is also chucking in a bonnet bra for a tenner. Winning!

That sounds like a pretty awesome idea!

Might give that a go instead of doing the whole lot. If I did it all it might look a bit to much.

I'll put some pic's up when I'm done!

 glad i could help! haha :D

Right, I went shopping yesterday and picked up a massive haul of stuff from a guy near Leeds!

Had 4 polo gti's breaking and is going to give me good deals on parts if I need anymore =D

Coilovers, alloys, spare tyre and a bonnet bra
