So, i picked up my flash red VW Polo 6N2 1.4 16v last weekend as a bit of a run around after selling my Ibiza. Completely standard, with a huge amount of service history and 107k on the clocks. This is it:

Its a lovely little car. It has one thing wrong with it in that the drivers side electric window switches don't work. The locking/unlocking buttons work fine, so i reckon i just need to pick up a new one. I only really want to keep it for a few months, but I already have a few cheeky plans to modify it: Audio, 6N2 GTi grill, fresh plates, fresh lights, maybe lower it and anything else i pick up for the right price.

So, any opinions/ideas?

I picked up this little beauty this weekend from a friend for £10:

I got some more audio equipment out of a storage unit ready to fit, more updates on that when its done - I also went to the local scrap yard to see if I could find a replacement switch for the electric windows, unfortunately they didn't have any 6N2s in. I did find a cubby hole din for the second slot in the dash ready for when i fit the new headunit, taken from a mk4 Ibiza and a I got a couple of VW badges from 6N grills which i have a little idea for too.

Audio should be all be fitted sometime this week.

Vw sell window switches for £17 each. For some reason second hand on eBay they sell for more and obviously with second hand shit it could give up a few days later
