That interior's nice!

  • Author

cheers, i love the interior feels so much nicer than the polo interior. The Recaro's hold you in place so well when you corner fast as well, there brilliant haha

My dads mate came round the other day in his new 911, so i thought i would get a picture haha

DSC_0215_zps9c11f630.jpg

Only recaros I've sat in were when we owned fords, before the scene got too chavy. The wrap looks nice doing the same on my polo door handles but gloss black

  • Author

Yeah the recaros are really good, hold you in the corners and comfy too. I just couldnt stand the wood had to cover it up

good progress man! any other plans?

did you not think of taking the wheels off by any chance?

  • Author

Got plenty of plans haha just need money to do them. I'm going travelling in the New year so trying to save up for that as well as modify my car. Want to lower it, New exhaust, remap, New wheels, the list goes on

did the same thing with my polo, I find it quicker to mask up and paint on the car instead of taking each wheel off separately

  • Author

While it is nice out, i thought it would be rude not to finally take some nice pictures with my dslr. Car was clean when I left, but managed to get dirty on the way which was a bit annoying

found out that i needed 4 new tyres when i got the service done yesterday, so went and got a quote thinking it would be like £30-40 a tyre but no! £240 for a set.

So i had a look on ebay and found these audi TT wheels with two brand new tyres and two with 5mm tread left all for £180. They need a refurb but nothing a bit of sandpaper and paint wont sort out. Gives me something to do tomorrow now

DSC_0311_zpsa637ab20.jpg

Also the spoiler is finally done had a few problems with the clear coats but got there in the end. will be putting that on tomorrow as well

Got the New wheels sanded down and painted today

DSC_0312_zps8d9f4a01.jpg

And on the car, fill the arches much better than the old ones. However now I want to lower the car which needs money to happen
