I'd imagine it's because it got bitchy a while back, with some fuckers having to comment on everything rather than helpful responses. I know some users have other commitments too. It's good time to be working on the car as well. I'm sure it goes in cycles, but some people seem to need to make their presence felt, which pushes some people away

Amen to that, a lot of the current crop would probably run crying to their mummys if they were exposed to some of the shit that used to go on on here in its hay day.

I cant comment on what it was like in 2008. I'm on most days and cant help but feel its because people, especially younger people haven't got the money to do much with their cars.

People who have got money probably move on to higher power things as cars are cheap but doing stuff to them is not.

My mistake was moving out of my mums too quick, had it sweet there! Now I'm paying £400 a month and having to wash my own clothes and make my own god damn food!

Being on this forum has SAVED me money if anything else. The amount of stuff that i have found cheaper here than say buying new parts or paying garage to do something! Well worth £5 a year and a couple of evenings a week chatting!

Definately.... but alot of the people involved in said banter are no longer on the forum or sadly no longer with us :( just the polo shows back then showed it as it was.

Yea have noticed its a bit low on here lately, whats going on? I'm always on here looking for cheap parts/hints and tips and its been helpfull tbh, well i be putting my build thread on here in next few weeks Amigos, the coupes coming off the road for a full engine build, so it gives you mad scientists something to laugh and critercise about:) I'm looking forward to it tbh:)
