Just ordered an r-line!

Featured Replies

Just got home from the local dealer having ordered a flash red 5 door r-line. Extras are xenons, winter pack, centre arm rest, GAP insurance, anthracite floor mats, mudflaps, 3 years servicing, and paint and fabric protection plan. All coming to £17,100 (should be £18,103) I should be updating this with pictures in about 12-16 weeks time but until then give me your thoughts on the R-Line

Hi sounds good! If I were you I'd cancel the GAP and paint and fabric protection, you can get the GAP for £100 and the paint and fabric protection on eBay for about £40. I got both with my old Polo and didn't bother with this one just did it myself and saved mored or less £700 in the process! ;)

Yeah the fabric protection you can buy stuff and apply yourself in minutes. As the car is new you wouldn't even need to do any prep. Same as things like "supaguard" where they charge you loads and do it wrong anyway, as they wash the car first and put swirl marks all over it then seal it with the stuff, and charge you a fortune in the process :)

Sounds good though

Well the paint protection is life shine from autoglym. The way I see it I haven't paid for it any way because I had a haggle with the attractive lady at the dealership ;) I can't wait. I think there are only about 400 r-lines in the uk at the moment
