Right here is my 1990 Mk2 GTi. Just unnder 168000 on the clock. I took this car back in P/X back December (I can't say no to a nice MK2) I love this car but I've had alot of Mk2s and fancy a change.

The car cleans up pretty well, there are a few spots of rust and dings as you expect of a car this age. shown in the pics.

For and old car I think it looks damn good regardless. The car pulls well and is great fun to drive.

Now the things which let it down.

Rocker Cover gasket leaks, this can accasionally cause the clutch to slip. although its only for a short period of time.

A few spots of rust, worst is around the airel blank.

Bush in the gearlinkage is worn, this makes for a sloppy gear change ( i have the part but have not yet fitted it)

Idle is a little lumpy now due to the cam

Bonnet release is missing ( i use a screwdriver)

I am after £1950 for the car but offers are wlecome. The worst I can say is no.
