hey there I bought this a few weeks ago and thought I would share my project with you I used to own a mk2f polo coupe but sold that a year or so ago and bought a mk3 Ibiza cupra as my current car but anyway here is my bug I hope you like

cleaned all the arches out and underneath her

started cleaning up the engine and all the tinware ready for paint and bought some new bits

cleaned engine and painted

took some new pictures today and pulled off the running boards to have alook at the heater channels

n/s heater channel not bad for 44 years

What are the plans ?

bit of a late reply but thanks for the comments guys and the engine was had a big oil leak from what the previous owner said and plans really are just to restore it and lower it with some nice wheels maybe a bigger engine in the future but the 1300 will do for abit haha this weekend I will split the body from the chassis and start from there so pics to come
