Sam's polo coupe

Featured Replies

Hey guys and gals. Been on here a few week's now so thought its about time I done a build thread.

Bought my polo with plans to do it up and sell to make some money to help found my mk1 caddy, but after I got it and drove it back everything changed, now gonna keep this as my daily and abit of fun, here she is the day I got her, completely standard except the hideous painted badges

first started off stripping it and lowering it 80mm all round

Also primed the bumpers ready to de-texture. Got it back to mine and thought id put on my caddys wheels to see what the look like,

Then a cheap set of 13" ats classics came up, but not sure about them yet

Was surprised about how nice the paint was considering its the cheapest I could get.

Gonna get the wing's and underneath the bonnet and a few bits done today once I drag myself out of bed.

That's it for now :-)

Welcome along!

Thats one thing I want to be able to do to a decent finish! Looks smart mate, keep the thread alive

Bit of a shame changing the colour from Gambia Red, it's a nice colour when its polished up. Also what are you going to do about side repeaters? You'll need 'em for an MOT.

Cheers pal

And yeah the colour wernt my cup tea tbh. Was alright but hey, different strokes for different fokes lol

as for the indicators I've got them in the front and back il just say there never was any side repeaters lol never been an issue with other ones I've done :-)

Looking like good progress so far dude , Those wheels are ATS cups tho dude , not classics :) .

Yeah I know lol I'm not sure why I put classics lol heard there quite rare because there 13's and not the usual 15's I am considering running it on my lotus eclat's hmmmmm
