Up for sale is my clio 172 cup with respray in mexico blue being the cup spec it has no abs, no aircon, cloth seats, tweaked suspension, wider track, thinner glass and turini alloys. All of these things make it lighter than standard 172 and fastest of the 4 varients of 172's & 182's

I'm a real enthusiast have lovingly taken care of this car washing every week & waxing polishing every couple months and replacing anything she's need with quality parts not the cheap crap.

This is my 3rd clio (previously had ph1 172 and standard ph2 172) and 6th french car i love them to bits you can have so much fun in these pocket rockets and are relatively cheap o maintain and run i regularly get mid to hi 30's mpg town driving and hi 40's on motorway and pay £780 fully comp with 3 yrs no claims but time has come for something more refined as a new job means I'm doing alot of miles and need something to eat up the motorway miles.

the important bits:

* 98xxx miles

* Full service history

* 2 months Tax

* 5 months MOT

* Body work is perfect no scratches or dents anywhere (bar the bonnet see below)

* Completey rust free (had small 2p size hole in sill which was cut out and replaced)

* Belts have only just been done at 92k by birchdown aswell as a service

Within the last few months i have replaced track rod ends inners ball joints and bushings all round and brembo disks and pads all round.

Interior is again mint apart from the usual wear on the thump grips which is a shame but a common fault.

Car is completely standard bar a k&n cone filter and stainless steel exhaust system.

Due to current weather conditions i cant really get any good pictures but i can provide some to anybody whos genuinely interested.

**Last night some kids decided to jump all over the bonnet so it requires a new bonnet**

Price wise I'm looking for offers in the £1750 range or px for something cheap to insure/run

2001 5door polo 6n2? 1.4 16v (100bhp) model.

8j Rota RB's in porsche mint green and 165/50 potenza's all round.

Bodywork has a few dings in it and one slight key mark on the drivers rear door (Happened at a national park of all places)

96k (rise daily), lowered on FK coilovers, sport interior. full stainless mani-decat and backbox (nice pops and flames) hidden tailpipe.

The engine tappets are noisy (quiet down when warm), this is a common fault on these engines! just had new alternator and belt. cambelt has been done in last 25k!
