right then, having a change of plan with my mk1 golf project so my carbs and manifold are going up for sale now

first off is a set of zzr600 bike carbs with nice trumpets, and a manifold to suit the 8v engines, so from 1000cc up to 1600cc i guess? including g40?

oh really now? you know mk1 golfs come with a 1.3 the same as a polo right? and that baseplate looks very much the same shape/pattern.

it is however missing the cut outs for the spark plug holes which may give issues with installation, but depends on your tool i spose

Look closer Eric, it's completely different to a Polo 8v inlet pattern.

It's missing the cutouts because its for a tall block Golf 8v engine, for example found in the mk3 golf GTI (8v)

I'm not convinced.

for comparison.. the one fitted to my 1.3 golf. obvs this one is machined ect so all nice and round looking ha. looks the same to me if not very very similar

There water jet cut, so i suppose its whos measured the existing ports.

Whether it fits or not, them two are still different shapes lol.

The one that supposed to be the polo one looks like the one off ebay that i bought, ports were about 1-2mm too small.

The one in the advert doesnt look right either.
