Mine was alright in the snow (having only got round to going winter mode a few weeks ago ) you're better off with a slimmer tread in snow really. Didn't have huge amount of stretch though, 165 on a 6.5

how does the sidewall being at a slight angle affect the contact patch and cornering capabilities? as i've always said, high powered drift cars run stretch and do 80mph around corners sideways!

You're right Charlie, had mine new in 2003 and they set me back £655 incl VAT and delivery although they were 7 x 13's, so a common fitment. They are indeed obsolete now unfortunately.
