LOL I spotted this joker last night!

lmaooo!

They are kinda rare but not 1.3K rare.

Even actual genuine splits that are really rare don't fetch that much

NEW LOWER PRICE

scene tax

I must have counted the word "rare" 10+ times

Funny.

He states that they corner well said no one ever with strecth tyres he clearly never drove in the wet or snow

Might try and sell mine for half his price, his add would make mine seem cheap :lol:

and there was me thinking it would be a seller who had added a zero because they had a potential buyer outside of ebay lined up, but didn't want to end the listing untill the wheels were sold, but no, this person genuinely seems to want around £900 more than their wheels are worth! lols

Tbf I'd imagine these would sell for a bit more than £400 if they are as mint as they look

there is some real bullshit in that add tho

"rsl cults where made in 13inch and 7wide it was a special to have an 8j rim these are one of a kind special I'm told, these are 14inch 8j front 9j rear iv never seen these wheels in this size before and i doubt i ever will see these again."

Ben on here has/had a set of 14x8/9, might send him a pic of them just to ruin his day

Cults came in a fair few size combinations, mine are 15x7.5/8.5

Mine was alright in the snow (having only got round to going winter mode a few weeks ago ) you're better off with a slimmer tread in snow really. Didn't have huge amount of stretch though, 165 on a 6.5

I'm sure you can buy them new for that. Knob.

mines fine with stretch, dont buy shit tyres! lol

you clearly dont understand tyres

how does the sidewall being at a slight angle affect the contact patch and cornering capabilities? as i've always said, high powered drift cars run stretch and do 80mph around corners sideways!

i'd love these 14" cults if they were cheaper

My rocco was the best car I have ever driven in the snow and that was running stretch all round

Pretty sure they haven't been available new for years?

Vic did for his Derby but it might have been a few years ago. Still, you can get a half decent set for a few hundred quid on ebay.de.

£1300. LOL.

I know Ben had to sit on his set of 3 for ages until another set of 3 popped up that he bought to make a full set because you couldn't buy them new. I've seen mint sets sell for around the £600 mark over here before

guy .. Polo with standard 1.3 and 155/55 tyres was unstopbable .. Even at 80mm or so ...

Price dropped to £800 now

Maybe he's seen this thread

You're right Charlie, had mine new in 2003 and they set me back £655 incl VAT and delivery although they were 7 x 13's, so a common fitment. They are indeed obsolete now unfortunately.

what a muggggg!

i lolled at this related auction...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-Genuine-Merce...26#ht_291wt_958

18" genuine mercedes alphards... when they're usually 19s. and in the advert it says...

"18" Mercedes Alphards.... 17 x 8.5 all round."

Wha?
