Selling my Passat B2 Topic estate, bought the car in december last year, been a brilliant runner and had no problems at all. I'm the 5th owner, the previous one being a builder, hence the slightly tatty interior. He also has lost all the service history, but assured me it was complete right up until it was sold to me. The body is a little tatty, lots of smallish marks but no major rust. The rear arches look like they have been attempted to have been repaired badly in the past, but they are all solid. I serviced the car back in december when I bought it, although the quality of the oil is affecting the tappets, as they can be a little loud when warm, and it didnt do that before the service.

Its a 2 litre 5 pot Manual car, pretty fast when it needs to be, runs lovely and smooth. Engine wise, its all standard, I've only changed the suspension. Lowered on early polo springs on the front (new in January) and mk2 golf coilovers. These still adjust perfectly, not seized in any way. The car does ride pretty harshly with this setup, but included in the sale is a used suspension kit from a mk3 polo which I believe could be modified and fitted to the car. I also still have the original suspension too, so I will include that with the sale. The cars fitted with 15x7 et52.3 Porsche Teledials with 195/45/15 tyres (very good tread) and 20mm adaptors, I also have the original wheels with nearly new tyres included, as well as 2 spare wheels. I've also fitted since I've owned it 2 new boot struts, and a new bnib passanger tail lamp.

Bad bits

far from perfect outside, never really bothered me as I think it adds character

interior is abit tatty, drivers seat is worn and the rest should come out nicely with a good clean

windscreen washers dont work, the wipers themselves work fine

the original radio isnt wired in, I have wired in an ISO block, so any radio will plug straight in and work

I'm after a quick sale, so £650 on the teledials, or £400 on the original wheels
