Didn't actually seem that quick in that car. Also, think I'm gonna need a new rev counter!

Done nothing to get the engine ready to put in yet, except research. lots of research!

I tried to put some scirocco front seats in it tonight but the runners are too wide ON THE SCIROCCO SEATS!

I had one of these years ago and loved it.

as stated the 5 pot was used in the older audi's

my old passat was running a 2.3 from an audi coupe using the carb from the audi 1.9gt it went well and was surprisingly really good on fuel

The B2s have really long gearing compared to the B3/4 I'm assuming because they weight a lot less. Even when it was knackered the 2.0 5 pot was doing 30-35mpg, when I first got it it was nearer 40mpg on a run. I imagine the 20v will drop the mpg a bit. I've decided to retain the original gearbox which will help.

The original engine has now been removed!

Not running yet though. Still lots to do. Wiring is the biggest challenge but after reading lots of wiring diagrams I think I've got it sussed.

Is that what I think that is? :ninja: I
