Having re-read, I apologise.... *facepalm* what am I looking for what will broken cv joint look like

haha, a broken cv would be obvious, if you take a look online at pictures you should be able to tell the difference.

Jack it up out of gear and try to turn the wheels, if its a broken cj joint then you won't be able to turn the inner cv joint (near the gearbox) by turning at the wheel end.

If you hear any grinding etc when turning the wheel then determine where its coming from, hopefully not your diff, which will mean new gearbox time

Jacked it up and wheel came off, arb and bottom arm, well the bush inside the bototm arm was out so assuming its all just "popped out of place"

Well that sounds nice and dangerous, wasn't there a thread that alot of people had this happen to them?!

At least it didn't cause you to crash and harm yourself/others
