So I'm a 17 year old girl who when I pass my driving test in few months, would like the cheapest insurance possible (like everyone else)!

My car is a 1L L reg 1993 mk2f polo breadvan, done about 110.000 to date. Does any one know of cheap insurance for me? I don't have any disabilities or been in any accidents as like I said, will only just be getting my full licence :)

Black boxes are the cheapest but they tend not to do cars over 15 years old

Your best bet from what i've seen is Admiral, elephant maybe adrian flux just ring every one possible but it's still going to be £2000+ without a black box :(

I'm 18 0 NCB and it was £1500 for me with the CO-OP black box on a 1.4 polo 6n2 (75bhp one)

Just shop around and don't forget to add your parent(s)/guardian(s) to your policy. As for "it's still going to be £2000+ without a black box", yeah that's not true at all; my first policy was under £770 with only 10 months driving. If you live in a rural part of Scotland then you should be fine.

My first policy was £1050 in 2008 with ecar.

Definately give elephant a shot, £660 for me, 6 months held licence no ncb etc.. just 2 named drivers, elder women who have had there licence 15+ years tend to bring down the insurance a lot.
