anyone having the same problems as me with the "soft touch" finish on a vw dash peeling?

id like to remove the finish and paint it. anyone done this before?

Is there any easy way of removing the soft touch feels like I've been scratching it for years, someone recomended brake cleaner hasnt touched it.

please help!

Cellulose paint thinner and a scotchbrite pad worked on the interior handles on my Ibiza, but it was messy

I'm having the same problem! mine is beginning to look a mess! i really want a solution.

Sorted it green scourer and warm water job done. I did take it out to do this painted up n refitted thanks guys :)
