1977 baywindow camper low!

Featured Replies

Here is my 77 bay, i've had it for around 3 years, i bought the camper as a project and recently restored it putting all my time and money in to it here's a few things that i have done to her:

body/chassis

full re spray in ford frost white

inner and outer sills

new front panel

rear arches

sliding door inner and outer panel

rear chassis legs

rear light corners

left and right battery trays

suspension/wheels

4" narrow beam with drop spindles

front coilovers

shortened track rods

adjustable rear spring plates

rear slam shocks

replica fuchs professionally detailed by t2d

engine..

engine has had a full re build only done 300 miles

new twin 34 webbers

all tin wear powder coated

new heater exchanges

empi exhaust

i have all the receipts to prove the work thats been done, thousands spent as you can see from the pictures, there is nothing in the back but i do have all the original interior. Also the pop top roof works perfectly, all it needs is someone to come along and put their own touch on it. Its the perfect van to start with, the only reason for sale is that my partner and I have recently had a baby so we're looking for something a bit more practical. I am a big vw fan and like to go to the vw shows and I'm now looking for a T4 or T5. I've probably missed loads out that I have done in this restoration but please feel free to contact me on 07796822574 Lloyd. £11000 ono take a look http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/3648945/1977_bay_window_camper/
