Afternoon all,

this evening my Mam is picking up her Audi that she has purchased/leased. Audi offer 7 days free insurance and was just wondering if anyone knows details of this? Do you send your insurance quote (e.g. from direct line) to Audi and those people are insured on the car for 7 days?

Question being I won't be insured in the future on the direct line quote, but wondering if there's any chance of me being on the 7 day insurance?

Every Approved Used Audi comes with seven days’ complimentary cover on request. Audi Insurance will send a cover note to your Audi Centre, enabling them to tax your car so you can enjoy driving your new Audi right away. After that, you can choose to take out annual insurance just by getting in touch with us. It’s quick and simple, and insurance can begin as soon as your free cover expires. Picked it up today and it is the 1.4 TFSI model and I'm beyond jealous. I even left my keys in her old Clio that is now at the Audi garage waiting to be sold. Oh no....
