I wouldn't say I was into it.. I was about 10 years ago but decided to get back into it! :) Just getting my bike fixed up now, needed new brakes due to a perished seal!

Picked up a bike a little while ago, an old 80s Specialized Hardrock but with a few tricks bits. New forks, wheels, stem, bars, front disc etc.

Been doing about 7 miles a day in my lunch break at work, feck me I am unfit aha!

Yep, you know i do lol!

got into it a bit last year then went quiet over winter. just recently getting back on it.

Hit cannock chase up twice in 3 days and going again tonight haha.

It was your facebook post that made me think about it.. :)

I've currently pining for a hard tail to get back into riding some trails!

i used to ride! Just sold a DH bike, think I'm gonna buy an xc bike and get back on it!

cannock chase is your best bet for some nice loops and routes.

I used to race cross country on a GT Zaskar up until my mid twenties. after 10+ years off i'm finding it hard to get back into the swing of things. But i have a 2012 Cube LTD Race

Yeahh i ride dirt jumps, 4x and some skateparks!

Heres my whip

Used to in my younger days, well, as much as you can in Lincolnshire. I ought to start again really, I'm turning into a right fat fucker lately.

this is the biggest jump I've hit i think, apart from a 33FT tripple which i didnt actually mean to clear

What trails do you ride up cannock chase? I've moved back around cannock so ill be making use my bike again, Norfolk sucks for mtb

I ride bicycles :)

Mainly freeride, downhill sort of stuff. Being a smoker i die easy.

But I've had various bikes over the years but I'm riding a Commencal Furious at the moment, nothign factory on it except the forks which i will swap out for some 36's when i have the spare cash.

Mainly ride Cannock only started riding again this year so not been many places, want to get to chicky sometime soon miss that place far too much.

Love Wharncliff too.

Used to ride loads years ago, mainly DH but abit of XC too - anywhere i could get my bike. Been all over europe doing it too. Had a claud butler rigid but was built like a tank. Would love to get back into it but need a bike :(

was nice to be out in the middle of no where :)

too short for a mtb? you just buy a small frame :retard:

Loved my abnormally upright Haro so I spent a fresh grand on it getting it up to scratch, only for it to get swiftly nicked by some waster. dsc00486.jpg.

Since, I tried to find a frame with the right geometry. Not easy, i'm tallish but like the BMX grab. Currently it's a Dawes cromo Reynolds thing that doesnt warrant a photo, using the full fat 26in wheels, all be it with townies for our tarmac racetrack. I thought I'd need to use a women's frame with the 24in wheels because they tend to be more comfortable, could build a nice one and really sling it about. The Dawes has proven though 26's are sweet with the right geometry.

Having no brakes in the Polo is fine, neither has anyone else, but v-brakes on the bike is a real problem.. I miss the hydraulic discs big time.

I need better and i'm on the lookout for a hardtail XC light and strong with a forward position for touring. Tried a Bear Valley recently which was improved during its three years, good but not good enough.

Retro is good if parts can be found. Rode an old square frame Kona recently, felt lovely in its way but not right, but uniformity of sizing is hopeless for stuff now.

So suggestions on modern, lean forward hardtail stuff welcome.
