Ok where do I start! The car was owned by Catthorpe Manor in Lutterworth all its life and passed between family members then bought by the guy I bought it off. He bought it to stick bike carbs on, lower it etc etc but his MG has taken all his funds so put it up on eBay.

Good bits.

It's a Genesis model in silver 1.3 petrol.

Only 38k on the clock with paperwork and mots to back this up

5 months tax and MOT till 29th April 2014 (2 advisories, oil leak and near side break pipe slightly corroded) both of which have been rectified.

Cambelt and water pump changed 26th May this year (no proof but my friend did it, take the cover off you will see its new).

Sunroof doesn't leak!

2 original keys, 1 of which comes in a nice original leather pouch.

Haynes manual included

There are front and rear metal pressed number plates with plastic abt surrounds to go with the car, not sure if they are legal or not?

I insured the car in my partners name with me as a named driver, she has no no claims and the policy is only £229 fully comprehensive. We are both early 30's.

Bad bits

No parcel self

It's been the subject of someone's dodgy audio set up so there are 6x9s plumbed into the boot and there is some sort of Belkin thing attached to the stereo with aux/USB plug thingys.

Roof painwork is a bit tatty

Stone chip on bonnet

Missing glove box lid

Cracked headlight though I am sourcing one

Could do with a service which I will be doing in next few weeks.

I know these cars have quite a cult following, my friend has had nine of them and recommended this forum. I can send pictures via email or what's app so feel free to text/message me in sociable hours with requests for pictures and I'll get them to you ASAP. I have done my homework and looked at a few of these motors online and how few there are for sale, especially with the mileage mine has on it. I am after £1300 or a swap/part ex for something a little newer or just as economical. Ideally a Seicento Sporting!!

The car is at RAF Marham near kings Lynn most of the time but I will be up in Barrow In Furness with it every second weekend.
