We need more DIY guides!

This is ClubPolo.. have you seen how many UK-Polos.net has compared to us? like 6 full pages...

The majority of the DIY/how to guides come from forum members. If you're doing any jobs which you can document (with pics) then let us know.

And it says there's over 10,000 registered users.. it's more than double that now

There should be some polo show advertisement going up there shortly. I'll get Panda to change the figure.

Polo Show advert looks great but the other text on the page could do with updating.

Also it links to the 2007 show and isn't viewable unless you're registered and signed in.

Just a little brainwave I had This should boost the site size and local meets

In the membership Pack you could include a few buisness cards that you can carry in your wallet(/purse for the polo ladys) saying you've been spotted by a club member and you've been asked to join the clubpolo community

You could have the home page pic on there Then have all details of the website/forum on the rear

I think this could boost the site and even the local meets!

fair enuf you won't be able to pass one to every polo you see but when your on foot and you see 1 parked up it would only take 2 seconds to take 1 out you wallet (or purse ladys) pop 1 under the wiper the member leaving the card could even sign there forum name so they know who invited them

I know I'm up for doing it because there's a fair few polo owners I've seen that have never heard of the site and they don't know what there missing

Funnily enough Wayne, this is an old idea. I've still got the cards from when I first joined back in 2006. I'm not quite sure why they're no longer put in the packs, maybe costs are too high? For example, the last batch of membership cards I ordered cost nearly £50!!

I'll try and find out why they were discontinued.

DAMMM to late on that one then!!! lol. I thinks its a great idea and i cant see why it wouldnt work you could just put a small printable pic that members could print thereselves saving you the cost matey?????

Its a good idea in retrospec but it wants to be limited to polo owners really otherwise we'll end up like edition 38

I'll get a pic of the spotted cards just to show you what they were like. Didnt have any pictures on. Just a basic design with room on it to leave some info for the vehicle owner.

Don't know if this has been brought up yet or not but how about a club polo iPhone application for us iphone users? It could be kinda like the eBay or facebook app but for forum use instead and it would help with web page loading times etc could even include those online custom polo creating games maybe??

Not quite sure how those iPhone applications work. Would be useful as I use my iPhone alotb for posting on here (like now!)

loads of companies online do like 100 business cards for free, so if a public template was made, we could all order our own to our front door, for free!

you could put a companys advert on the back and get them go half's to the bill!

i think that is a really good idea getting members to print some off, saves on the clubs printing and postage ect.

Someone PM'd me offering a card printing service but i've cleared my inbox so the PM went

I may try and order some today and see what happens.

This would be good if it was private for paid up members only i dont really want any tom dick or harry knowing where I live and where my car will be!

other than that its a great idea

good for local meets and big events and just general help when its needed!
