Suggestion for the ClubPolo Forum

How's about a newbie section where new members can say hello, introduce themselves and their car. Have seen it on a few other car forums that i frequent and it tends to take the bulk of the "I'm new" threads out of the main forum.

Good idea IMO.

I'm afraid that's very unlikely. We are already pushing our luck with VW as it is.

I think there's a website where you can check out part numbers and diagrams, but it's all in russki!!

is it possible to put one somewhere without having it connected to the forum.

just on some random webspace and have somebody stumble accross it?

There are plenty of people who can send/sell you a copy if you ask.

I just found my copy on some torrent site, tho that was a while back now.

you can find it on eMule and BearShare but the programme is huge. too much for my little computer to handle.

not to worry mate.

Maybe add a PARTS section into the FAQ of each section.

that way peopel can list part names/number etc :-D

stop putting this all on me :paranoid::paranoid::paranoid:

what about sub forums in the meets section for reginalised meets

I'm not going up north and there seem to be a lot of northern meets that push the southern meets onto the 2nd/3rd pages

it would help as people never put on their post normally where it is until you have to open the post

Actually on most forums I'm on they have a newb section, people DO look in it and reply if they want to say hello, granted they may not get as many replies, but as fil says it would take crap out of the main forum.

A subforum in off topic or something would work well

I suggest you bring back the warning system...

And hand out warns for every person who posts a post ripping the shit out of a car, such as the chavvy crap on ebay.

okay so its crap and yeah we all hate it, but it gets annoying after a while

This one is awesome...

Referral Program of some sort!?

Like, I've seen at least 4 local polo's that would probably join up, so I'm gonna go tag their cars soon.

But yeah, we should see who can refer the most...!

I second that, I think it will be a lot easier to get people to sort out the meets and make greater awareness of things.

Another suggestions is a How-To Section split into different Marks, so that you know how to do the basic stuff like replacing the bulbs, etc

What have we done?

Any chance of having the Workshop Manual available in pdf? I know this is available on the Peugeot 205 site.

I dont think you are supposed to have it in pdf format. However if you e-mail giorgio.demetriou@gmail.com I think he could help you out. :ninja::ninja:8-)

On the top of every section in Knowledge Base have a thread where people can post information abotu parts/part numbers etc

I think we should have a garage recommendation bit.

So all the regions can recommend good garages, and what services they do.

a good sellers list as a sticky topic in the parts for sale forum

just bought a full interior off a club polo member and he even met me half way for the change over :)

imo a newbie section is definitely a good idea! I dunno why you are sayin no one looks in it, because I'm a member of a couple of forums with newbie sections, and everyone tends to say hello and to see the first pic of the car!!
