Why not?

I feel i could make the world a better place if i had the powers!

 if you say so boss lol
:nod::thumbsup::D

I think the mk section in for sale would be a good idea.

But what if the item is for mk 2,3,4,5? Just a tick box to say which one maybe?

A nice change would be getting the stickers and membership pack i sent off for like 3 weeks ago?

Seriously?

Where is it?

^ ^

I'm with Gomez!

?????

How about an automatic PM sent to you to tell you when someone has replied to one of your posts.

i sometimes leave a comment then forget about the thread lol i look at it alot later and see someone has asked me a question (might just be me)

ill probably do it to this post :-D

Yeah thats a good idea. The email notification is ok but PM would be better.

It would be very handy, especially with this forum being very busy.

I'm suggesting a rating for each member

So if they are a good seller/good member you rate them 5 star like ebay

If they are shit you rate them 0 stars

I am sick to death now of getting analy fucked by MEMBERS on the site when buying things and there not sending

And also for the admin should have contact numbers so we can connect them when they fuck us

Sorry rant over

I think this is an excellent idea, but I also think that buyers should have a rating for speed of payment etc and that you should be able to comment on peoples communication skills.....

I think the only problem would be people rating them who hasn't bought anything therefore giving them a possible low rating for no reason?? For example if they post something somone doesnt like or someone takes a dislike to them they may get bad ratings??

my 2p, Lee

i am in great favour of the scoreing/rating and feedback system for selling and buying.

also would like to suggest that a single thread is made up for posting pictures, and everybody posts there pictures in there rather than numerous different threads/topics for the same event pictures, and only pictures are able to be posted in the tread no comments, because it will keep the number of topics down and allow everyone to see everybodys pictures from the show.

just my suggestions.

Commenting on pictures is the best part! Also it is nice to have your own thread with your pictures. Two reasons 1) They are your own so you want them on display in their own right 2) If you have ALOT of images you don't want them way down the order on page 3 with another 40 pictures, loading times would be horrendous.

It is good that Polo Show has its on sub-forum for pictures...perhaps for big events like ED38 a temp forum should be set up for all the pic threads...they can then be placed back in photo and video at a later date...or a photo event archive forum.

Pm notifying of post replies would be gould but if the next post doesn't relate to you at all you'll just end up getting vexxed with it. Maybe pm's to a post in your topic would be a way around that.

As has been mentioned in a recent thread, there are those who would like a clubpolo Number Plate Surround and then i saw this thread and thought hey yeah i'll mention it. I myself would be more inclined to have a plate surround if it was a clubpolo one.

Well you've currently got email notification of replies to selected threads.

Thing is if we used PM's and you subscribed to a lot of threads your inbox would fill up pretty quickly.

Yes, sorry I forgot about that.

But the number plate surrounds?

Never been in the situation myself, but does the forum generate an e-mail to tell you when you inbox is nearly full???

Nothing more frustrating than trying to get hold of someone to be told their inbox is full.

I just forget to check my inbox capacity.....a nearly full warning would be good.

There is still no section for D.I.Y guides...?

Loads of forums have these except for us

Would be handy for people wanting to do wheel refurbs....induction kit installations

I have written to guides, 1 on a thottle body removal + clean, and another on fuel rail system removal but have no were to put them wich is annoying!

second that

ratings would be ace.

how about a new section in the picture section, the one with mk 1 - 7 and non polo then a boot build/ sterio system thread.

And one maybe just showing what wheels you have, with specs like offset, width, no of studs, and what tyre size and what car they are on. should help reduce the number of questions being asked about 'will these wheels fit?'

A members map is a good idea i reckon, a few other forums have them and its good to see if there is anyone local to you.

Toby

a DIY guide section would be quite useful.

only just notcied that its already been asked lol
