A general chat section would be nice. I know its bandwidth probs etc but if theres room it would be good. Someone told me to ask on other forums but i don't want to join every forum on the net to ask differnt questions as people tend to ignore you as you have no post count etc.

Cancel that as i read what has been said about this topic and can see its more trouble than its worth, fair play.

That's what the picture and video gallery is for?

I'd like some way of the moderators saving threads from being pruned, we are loosing too many good ones. It's getting a little annoying now.

ClubGTi is like that, its very anoyin as you cant 'Bump' your advert. BUT there is no need to do bumping as much as that person a couple of days ago who did 3 'bumps' in 4hrs!!

Don't agree at all. Its really anoying not being able to get things back to the top, people will just make the same add again and surely thats going to make things worse?

Dunno if its the same on here, but if its set up like that you cant edit it either, so if things sell ull still get PM's asking about it and that is also anoying.

newbie secton. there they can introduce em selfs and ask all the questions that clutter up are topics.

on a local fourm you have to post in the newb section befor you can post in the rest of the site

how about one of those mod your car type link to the site? like dub modder but for polo's this would be for members only so if you want to use you must be a member. this would help bring more members in.

If it could be policed well,it should work.

Some topics do better than others,but the shyte topics can easily be locked if they're going nowhere or the concept is being abused.

Course,there are literally thousands of general chat sites on the net,we could just go and use one of them,i already do and have for years.

But 'our' (CP community) own little one here should work?

Definatly needs a region section to help if trying to organise local meets etc.

I think it would be good to split the Engine etc section into "Tuning" and "Problems" or words to that effect.

I was thinking it would be good if, in the photo gallery marks sections, we could have colour sub-sections?

So if you're looking to buy for example a mk2 in white, you could click on that section and see lots of pics of

white mk2's...etc etc

too many good posts get nuked just cos they're old i think. an archive would allow people to google search old topics to find useful information about polos.

i think we should do a monthly feature car. when i used to be on allcorsa.co.uk they had it on there and it worked really well. at the start of the month a few cars go into a poll and people vote on them and then obviously the person with the most votes wins feature car of the month......
