front or rear?

did you lower your polo and now the strut caps are floating? try exhaust rubbers on them, I used these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280895816781?ssP...984.m1439.l2649

Don't think that will work

Scrap yard or someone breaking is your best bet.

New ones have always been supplied with new dampers whenever i've bought them.
