Hi there, this isn't strictly MY Polo, its my dads.

Bit of history for you, my dad used to be a miner around when the mk2 golf GTI was brand new, so blew his wages on one, loved it, crashed it, got another, got a Mk1, got an FC RX7, then had some other cars, then got a job at a VW garage, had a 51 plate 9n, swapped it in for a 52 plate 9n in black (FN52 JJZ) then he gave it to my mum, whilst driving pretty much every VW under the sun made from 2003-2007. I got to take a ride in the press release Scirocco and MK5 GTI

then he had a 530d for a looooooong time, and recently chopped it in for a Mk8 polo, in white :) its the first 13 plate in East Mids we were told by the dealer, its a really nice car, feels quality :)

personally me, I love Jap cars *flame suit on* I have a diesel yaris with a blown engine and turbo that I'm rebuilding, and drive a k12 micra as a daily! haha!

Nice and welcome! The white polo is such a nice base to work with.

Not a big fan of the yaris, but I seem to like the look of how it seems to be going, any build threads on that?
