i dont think the afh 16v is in the red mk4 polo haynes manual, or prove me wrong , any one have a haynes with the afh engine in it ?

Don't think it's in any of them!! definately not in the RED 94-99 one Might be in the 99 Seat Cordoba???

It's the programme VW use that tells them how do do each job iirc. You can download it I think, or buy a hooky copy from ebay

This is all great , and am in the middle ot using these guides , however the crank pully, do I align it to 2v or 4v?

It's a four valve head (4v) so

So new belt an pulleys are on , want to know iff this is normal . Tensioned up the belt with the puly and tightened to 20 nm . I turned the engine over twice , all seemed ok how ever the tensioner pointer moves back then forward to were it should be set , is that correct ?
