So I sold my shit Corsa c which I couldn't of been happier to get rid of and purchased a W reg Polo 6N2.

Definitely a much better drive and has so much potential!

Will be a project which runs alongside my army career so updates could be quick or slow so everyone will just have to hang slack :)

So here's a image of what it looked like when I bought it

Which is: de wipered the back, debadged the back, fitted a sub and new Sony CD player and a good clean and polish!!

What I want to do:

Get rid of them alloys and get some G60 steelies and refurb in white which a thin blue line around the outer edge! (Fresh)

Take the ride height dowwwwwn!

Limo black the back 3 windows.

GTi Leather seats

Honeycomb mesh grill (Waiting of delivery of it!)

Move number plate to lower grill.

Private number plate.

Some new headlights!

Rear GTi Bumper & Exhaust

Probably lots more but will update as I come to thinking of it!

Any tips for me or if your selling anything I may need just write it! Cheers!

Plans sound good mate,

Would have a looking into limo black tints as you don't want it to look to much like a van.

Also leave the number plate where it is unless your smoothing you bumper.

But its up to you, your car.

And as far as I'm aware there is difference between the GTi bumper and standard colour coded bumper (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

First update! Popped up to wilkinsons and got some white primer, gloss and lacquer and decided to refurb my alloys and spray my front vw badge!!

Cheers mate took hours but wanted to do a proper job not a rush job. And definitely coilovers bud, looks like a monster truck, however not too low as speed bumps are everywhere haha! Wouldn't mind a HID kit either when my headlights are cleaned! Also rear badge to go white :)

Giving it a massive clean tomorrow! Stripping out seats the lot so will get pics on after the deep cleanse of it :)

Yeah I know the feeling about the coilovers I just got mine but not putting then in until I get my wheels and don't want to go too low, just take out most of the arch gap!

Also may sound strange but I recently brought GTI headlights and they were all cloudy.

Clean them with a cloth put some toothpaste (yes toothpaste) on them and rub it around each light with a nail brush (make sure the brushes arnt too rigid and not too soft) run it in, let it dry for a few mins then wax on wax off it!

I did it 3 times (20 mins work) and they are almost like new!!

I've done the outside mate its the inside it is :/ and yeah seen your thread mate its smart :) and yeah that's all I wanna do is the that gap!

Small update: car passed its MOT today with no advisories! happy with that :) so now i know i can start making it look smart knowing its not got a problem, however gearbox leaking oil from main gasket so need to look for one of them :)

That blue tint is really smart!!

Car is having a new gearbox so its off the road :(

New gearbox is in also replaced gear selector mech as it had a nice long crack! Can't wait to carry on now :)
