right, it seems to me that i have blew my gearbox up but not 100% certain, i pulled out of a junction and went to go into second and a loud noise came then i couldnt select any gear and the car wouldnt move under its own steam, it looks like the drive shafts are still in but I'm not too sure! i have just put a clutch init 2/3weeks ago, every time i go to select a gear and let the clutch out theres no movement the speedo still works as i got towed home? need help asap!

A similar thing has happened with my four speed except I could select all gears and there was no drive. The speedo worked though. Two holes in the gearbox with oil over the floor and a spider gear obviously loose in the gearbox confirmed that the differential had blown. Phil

Lol, Yeh a hole in the vox deffinarly means it's time to change.

I would get the front end up and have a look see.
