so been on here for a while now. never done a build thread before...so here goes.

got this in feb 2013 (my leon cupra was draining me on petrol)

brought it with 94k on clock full service history..had a cambelt and waterpump change..coilovers..rs4 alloys etc

brought it looking like this

unfortunately on the way back some knoob in a range rover gave my pass door a lil knock..luckily no major damage just left me with a lovely dent in my pass door. (haven't took a picture of this as it annoys me everytime i see it) i do have another door to go on now though

got it home and with in a couple of days of having it gave it a full service and a proper polish and wax.

then got some bbs reps off my mate from the local meet had them on for a week and sold them to a lad local for his golf and should have my new wheels wednesday.

will put up pics when they get here.

Thats a nice motor pal, I do love a good mk4 golf. What's the plans for it?

I quite liked it on the rs4s to be honest, just a personal thing though.

Jealous, thats what I was looking for, a mk4 GTTDI 3 door, looks smart man, heart sank when I saw the first wheels you swapped to but soon redeemed with the new ones!

lol cheers..the other wheels were nice but went off them after a day or so...felt like they were too chavvy...and future plans are...remap notch...tt anti roll bar..on the look out for a us spec front bumper if anyone knows anyone lol

got a s3 arb last night..mainly for clearance.

well this weekend consists of (all being well) changing my aux belt and tensioner...gearbox oil flush and new oil (£55 quid from vw for 3l) pass door (hopefully)

well the weekend i got the drive belt and tesnioner changed...gearbox oil changed and put the led sidelight bulbs and reg plate bulbs in... left the door for another time..going to change the wing and front bumper at the same time will get some pics up later

bora/r32 illuminated vents that should be going in the next few days with the aero wipers. booked in for a remap at the end of the month hopefully too

this sunday consisted of me and my older bro cleaning and polishing mine and his best mates bora and putting the coils on the bora.

Finally got round to getting the bora vents in

finally got round to doing some work to the golf over the weekend (no pics as of yet though)

got the new wing on.

changed another cv boot as one split after 3 weeks of being on (pissed to say the least)

new top mounts

aero wipers on

and finally got the new door on..only to find that this one has a little bit of damage too that i didnt realise before. pissed off as it took me ages to find a lc9z door close to me.

oh well looks alot better now going to get the sill sprayed over next couple of weeks i hope

more work to the golf today..track rod end other side (drivers side) hid's sorting out my air bag plug will have pics up over the weekend when its all cleaned up as its filthy and desperate for a polish

couple of goodies

well my front coilovers have been butchered by the previos owner and basically ruined them..sooooooo

fk's arrived

pointless update but heated loom now all in and routed..new coilovers top mounts and wishbone bushes in...abs light off..but airbag light still on think it is down to the control module so ordered a replacement last night so hopefully that clears it.

car feels like a monster truck atm as i have left the coilovers wound up so i can get my tracking and stuff done and then over the weekend it will be detailed and wound back down pics to follow

not alot has happened over the past couple of weeks really...should be picking up another door this weekend as i aint happy with the condition of the pass door that is on. also should be getting the dent in the sill sorted next weekend (hopefully) with another lil bit i picked up during the week

not much going on tbh...still waiting for the bits i want to be sprayed and sorted.

did pick this up the other day though

still riding at pretty much stock height too as mot is on the 1st.

soon as it goes through will be winding the coilovers down as far as they will let me...notch...camber shim..and hopefully some new wheels as the bbs i am bored off now lol
