Thanks dude, same goes for yours man! Doing many shows this year?

8-) Cheers. Edition is really the only show I'm going to! Bit of a shame, but everything is so far away from me!

Will I have the pleasure of seeing your car there also?

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! I think i remember the silver 6n2 on the Rs's vaguely too, come say hi next time man!

And its a shame 6n's are dyeing out, but its good that theres been so many along with 6n2's out this year!

As the cars used daily and cant help but speed detail the thing atleast twice a day, i keep giving the car light swirl marks! I used to Meguires 205 which is like a glaze with very little cut to it on a Rotary and this removed most of the light marks, but theres still some quite harsh ones over the car from when the paint was about 7days old and the car got covered in brick dust from some building work going on at work, like a nerd i wiped it off and caused some more harsher marks, so if the weathers good on the weekend ill be at it woth the Rotary again, but i brought some Meguires 105 which is a compound with a bit more cut to it, used quite alot in the 105 and then 205 combo, so will get some pics up on the weekend of the progress if the weather allows me to do so ;)

I'm about 500 miles away. Either way, my car wasn't in a state I'd be happy to show it.

I look forward to seeing it!

Looked seriously amazing at players man, colour is lovely!

Right back with updates as promised! decided it was time to step it up, as much as I loved being static etc, I couldn't help myself with wanting the fun that hydro bring, and it doesn't make it easier when two of your good mates are both on hydro  so my boy Haps gave Ray from Rayvern Hydraulics a shout, as they have a quite good relationship with both his cars being on Rayvern kits and getting him quite a few jobs, he always hooks it up! the kit is normally..

£1600 and consists of..

4 struts

4 rams

4 springs

2 front lines

2 rear lines

the adjustment thingy, I cant remember the name

1 manifold

4 valves

2 switches

and a hose from the adjustment thingy to the manifold

on top of this its ...

£180 for the Rambox..

and I went for 8" rams on the rear instead of 6" for the extra 2" lift, these are also normally a further ..

£80.

But as I'm a basshead everything would be in the spare tyre well, meaning I wouldn't be able so access the adjustment thingy if I wanted to have a play with the speed as the false floor and subs would be on top, so I also brought another hose to go between the adjustment thingy and the pump so that the ''adjustment thingy'' would be up and above the sub box somewhere  also got 8 Diodes and 2 Plates thrown in for the front struts, basically to stop the strut going through the turret if something decided to go very wrong haha :x

so all in all.. the total cost should have been £1860 not including the Hose, Diodes and Top plates, like I said Haps my good mate Guy who also has a Mk6 Fiesta on hydro have a good relation with Ray, so he done the whole lot for a nice mount cheaper than the £1860.

ontop of this had to buy much more..

7core trailer wire

wireless remote setup

connectors

nuts and bolts

standard suspension to cut the mounts off of and weld onto the new struts (which was donated to me for free by a mate)

battery and split charger which again I already had for the bass side of things

shit loads of cable ties

P clips

20 more diodes for the wireless control

probably forgot some things, but all of this eventually added up a lot

my mate Guy done 80% of the work which was mainly wiring, i fitted the struts, ran the lines, mocked everything up in the boot and secured it all. what would normally be a ballache measuring up the struts to make sure it lays etc, we just used Haps struts to test fit, and yes it layed hard with still about an inch of travel left :-D :-D

so Guy cut up the struts and got them welded up by a friend of his..

ill let the pictures tell the story now 8-)

Rears..

Fronts..

image_zps8544e9f2.jpg

This is basically how the boot is now, except the battery is where the pump is, and vice versa..

image_zps9e5a1ed1.jpg

Passenger side notch, need to do the steering arms asap as there just bending :doubt:

image_zps21ada49d.jpg

Guy sorting out all this wiring bullshit

image_zps8a08cb36.jpg

Switches located and all wiring run to the boot :-)

image_zps29aef4dc.jpg

once everything was wired up, lines run under the car, mounted securely, and ran into the spare wheel well, it was time to tighten everything up, top the pump up with hydraulic fluid, put the wheels on the car, and put it on the ground!

this is the car on full lift..

image_zpse96e5ac8.jpg

and the moment of truth, firstly to make sure everything actually worked, and to see if it layed!!

to say it layed was an understatement, you literally here the frame smash the floor, ill be at GTI inters this sunday if anyone wants a demo or to inspect that it lays :-D

image_zps8cff24c9.jpg

image_zpsd6bdcce6.jpg

image_zps4cc6b9d4.jpg

Went down to see Ray again for a few more bits and pieces to tidy up the boot!

how she sits on 165 45 15's over a 7.5 :-D

image_zps6fff36da.jpg

and he hooked us up with some Rayvern keyrings 8-)

image_zps3c1df414.jpg

and a most up to date pic of the car from the Homegrown meet last Friday..

image_zpsf15b170d.jpg

it lays, tucks rim quite a bit, and pretty much lays splitter, and after lots of frame laying down motorways etc, this is what I'm left with

image_zpsc8927cc0.jpg

you can see the gap from the bolt to the bottom frame is what, all of about 3mm? considering its supposed to be like this..

image_zps1a42ea95.jpg

I have a fresh frame at home, but don't want to change it because itll only get higher :-( so I might fit it, lay it out to a safe level, and then keep plateing it haha!

but yeah that's about it for now, I've also brought some new subs, just waiting for my boy Amar over at TeamSpb to make the box and for the subs to be delivered! so will update with them once they're sorted, hopefully before the weekend! so yeah throw some feedback at me guys, and hope you all like the latest life story

This makes me sad :(

Sexy looking car!

Wonder who's none shagged under floor that is

Smashing it bro!

Holy Shit! looks awesome mate 8-)

wow thats awesome =D never really seen anything on hydros or had anything to do with it so might have to drag myself to a show to come have a look lol
