My Mk2 Caddy Pickup

Featured Replies

So i started my new job a few months ago (landscape gardening), and quickly realised that my 106 Rallye wasn't really that practical. So started looking for a caddy pickup and found this one.

Before I got it on the road I decided to have some body work done as it was a bit scabby.

I thought it would be cool to have it done the same colour as my new gear knob.

Looks good mate. One thing that would set it off is colour code the wheels in the cream colour unless your getting alloys?

Good to see another Skaddy on here! What did you do to lower it? Cut springs or bits of ford?

Cheers mate, no I'm going to keep the wheels as thay r for the moment. I don't think I would have them cream as I think it would look a bit to much.

They r 35 mm lowering springs and they come with it but they weren't on it when I got it.

Fair play, those things aren't cheap. Mine's going to need new rear shocks soon because they're about rusted through, so I might get lowering while I'm there.

Hope you put some arch liners in the front while you were there, the front wings seem to dissolve before you eyes on these.

Never been a fan of the mk2 but this one has changed my mind! Looks great
