Hello !

At first i been looking for simular theme and didnt found out.If same exist sorry to admin and please give me link.

On my car(9n 1.9 TDI/2004) front OEM coils have three YELLOW and one RED punctual.Left one wire snaped and i find other from 9n 2004., seller told me that is from 9N 1.9 SDI (different in weight between 1.9 TDI and 1.9 SDI is 32 kg).Color combination on that coil is three BLUE and one RED.My mehanical told me that 99% will be fit.Didn't want to buy brand new 'cos friends told me that are worse than used one(at list here in Serbia)...

My qestion is about meaning of that color 'cos didnt find on internet or any manual about that things ?

ps.I seen for example on : 9n 1.2 three RED and one BLUE, on skoda fabia (1.9 TDI/ same engine ATD like mine) four YELLOW and one RED...

It will probably "fit", but the spring rate will be different, so your car probably won't sit or feel right. The colour marks are given on ETKA.

On car is still broken coil and didnt went low maybe 1 cm max on the left side.Will see what is going on when change coil.

If somebody have 1.9 SDI 9N will be grateful to tell me color of punctual on front coils.

Just to give addition.Ask friend of mine to see color mark on his coils (same engine 9n 1.9 TDI 74/100).Told me 4 yellow/1 red (on mine oem 3 yellow/1red) and see on other 1.9 SDI (2yellow/1 red).So didnt smarter and cant hitch logic chain of classification...

Btw I change snaped wire with (3 blue/1 red coil- mine snaped was 3yellow/1 red) another coil, center chassis and car are look and feel right.
