9N3 Ambient Temperature Sensor Wiring Diagram

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had the Ambient Temperature sensor wire rust on me. I tried to cut the wire back and start again, but unfortunately its rusted quite a way back. The wires are wrapped up in a huge loom and don't really want to undo the loom to get 2 wires out.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the temp sensor? My plan was just to wire 2 new wires from the controller down to the sensor as i think this maybe easier.

Thanks in advance

Olie :)

Just fix the new wires to the outside of the loom with (preferably) cable ties or you COULD use tape.

Regards.

What colours are the wires? as I'm struggling to find the sensor on the wiring diagrams :? is the sensor for the A/C or the dash display?

One wire is brown & white and the other is brown & yellow. The sensor is used for the A/C. I haven't really been to bothered in fixing it at the moment, but as its getting warm i need to fix it.

None of the 9N3 diagrams show any of the sensors with those coloured wires, they only list Green & Green/white or puple or blue ??

What year is the car and engine code if possible?

Not sure if this helps? G17 is the sensor, J285 is the instrument cluster circuitboard, T32a is the green connector on the back of it.:

Não tem certeza se isso ajuda? G17 é o sensor, J285 é a placa de circuito do painel de instrumentos, T32a é o conector verde na parte de trás dele.:
