Been using the haynes manual and when I got to taking the rear bumper off it only lists the screws in the wheel arches and the 4 torx under the boot seal. Once I removed these it still seems pretty secure on the lower end of the bumper. Anybody know if I'm missing some fixings or do I just need to man up and pull harder?

My 8v bumper I had to give it a god pull and it pop off matey I hope this helps u

Just realised the 3 and 5 doors have different rear bumpers, the 3 doors have a solid rear bumper, but the 5s have 2 seperate pieces.

Does that make a difference? mines a 5 door

have you got on your back and had a look under to see if theres anything underneith?

I think you're confusing the bumpers. The 16v has a solid one piece and the 8v has a two piece bumper, don't think the doors change than but I may be wrong.

The 8v bumper has a few torx screws where the two parts meet so to speak, look between them at the join you should see what I mean

The upper bit on either is still hard without any fixings cause pushes onto some clip things
