I'm considering getting either an Evo 5 or DC2 Integra at the end of this year, both JDM imports.

I am well aware import insurance is expensive, but I currently drive an E36 328i with all mods declared (well, the coilovers anyway) and pay a shade over £300. 24, 5 years NCB and a half decent postcode.

So anyway long story short does anyone think I'll manage to beat the quotes given by Adrian Flux? £700ish for the DC2 and £1700! for the Evo 5.

Kinda happy with the DC2 quote, a UKDM DC2 came in at just under £500 so not a massive difference. The Evo quote is ridiculous, I can insure an E39 M5 for a third of that...

Try Sky Insurance and Greenlight. The former are/were Jap specialists and the latter seem to be under-cutting everyone else at the moment.

My old man has a evo 8 import.

He is with Adrian flux and pays £450 p/year.. Very reasonable I think
