hey guys n gals I'm having to sell my mk3 golf as I've bought a caddy van and have no need for 2 diesel vehicles, so could be open to swaps or px's.

make and model - vw golf 1999 5 door in vw matte silver

engine - 1.9 TDI

mileage - 162k ( nothing for these diesels!!! )

mot -6months

tax - 6months

history - present and have loads of receipts for parts bought for the car

wheels - 15x7 compomotives with 2 new tyres and 2 are in pretty good nick

price -£400

parts replaced -

*front wiper mech

*both front lower wishbone joints and drop links ( by previous owner)

*2 tyres

*oil and filter ( as soon as i bought it )

*front and rear wiper blades - bosch items

parts spare, front vr6 bumper in red and a drivers wing in red

I've had the car around 6 months and has never missed a beat! the only thing thats gone wrong was the front wiper mech and the wipers ending their life!

i drove the car back and fourth to bristol/bath area down to torbay on weekends and it drove lovely and cruises and 80-90 no problem,

everything works as it should, everything feels tight and well look after, no crunching in the gear box, no over heating, no horrible noises coming from the back end which this high mileage is pretty dam good!

its got a dark blue vr6 cloth interior with a black dash and black door cards...( apparently not common in mk3 tdi's ?? )

its lowered on springs on a set of 15x7 compo's

the bad - the drivers wing is shot, i do have a new one just haven't had chance to fit it yet.

theres a few bits here n there around scuffs n scraps but nothing major ( previous owner was a women -no offence! the front bumper has a horrendous repair on it where the house jumped out according to her! again it disgusting and will need a new bumper which i have :)

drivers seat bolster is a little worn but not to bad

other than those few little issues and some blemishes around the car its a quality daily! i used it for work up in bristol and it rocked its ass off up there no problems and is pretty nippy for a TDI so keeps up with fast moving traffic at a fraction of the cost of most petrol cars!

its a shame I've gota sell it really but i have no use for it now, I've just taxed it for 6months so its all ready to go. i may be open to pxs/swops for something a little more fun, maybe a mk2 golf gti or the like, but haven't got alot of cash to throw in so a little worse for wear one is prob going to be more in my price range.
