Urgent help - pre poloshow!

Featured Replies

Hey guys, just hours before I think about packing the tent for the show - my mk2 loon is "honking" as i drive down the road.

Its getting worse.

Initially just a tiny bit - now I'm beeping at everyone.

I'm assuming a bad earth, but as my practical understanding of electrics is as good as my dwarvish rune magic I'm a bit worried about something sparking and catching fire.

Any help or consideration appreciated.

Cheers

JC

Must be the steering wheel connection. What wheel have you got?

two spoke - sort of boomerang style one.

(pic searching now) please ignore how messy it all looks - early pic. (its not any better now but i pretend I've made some progress ;) )

Remove horn fuse and wait till you get to the show to have a look? It always helps when you have a large bunch of beer drinking polo enthusiasts standing around and pointing knowingly at stuff

at present I've disconnected the horn - I know thats not great, but dont want to miss the show unless my car is about to catch fire.

- ok will change that to the fuse solution ;)

as it is i suppose its the right day to have things looked at.

easy to fix, it will be the connection ring behind the wheel. We'll get it sorted for you!
