Alright folks, selling my mk2 polo coupe s which i have converted from a 1.3 to a 1.6 16v.

only 44k on shell. engine on 60k

modifications-

honda cbr600 fuel injection throttle bodies

complete engine rebuild

megasquirt ecu

ta tecknic coilovers

arb blocks

adjustable fuel pressure regulator

The car has been rolling road custom mapped with dyno print out. producing a healthy and reliable 125bhp!

Interior is standard apart from leather gearstick gaitor with red stiching and leather corrado 3 spoke steering wheel.

bodywork wise it is very clean but there are a few marks including 3 small dents along n/s and small bit of rust on o/s door.

Car will come with ats cups and original 13" alloys plus spare gearbox and starter motor from original engine.

A lot of time and expense has gone into this car but looking for a change now.

bad point - currently has a hot start problem, drives absolutely fine but when engine is hot it struggles turn over. i have a spare starter motor which is from the original engine which had done only 44k. confident this would cure the problem but currently do not have the time to fit it myself.

Yes did the whole conversion myself bar the mapping.

Yes still for sale. Currently a 1.3 on log book.

£1000 takes it. the hot start problem has developed, once its upto or above operating temperature engine doesn't turn over. If allowed to cool down will start again ok.

Try another starter motor dude

Yeah sounds like the starter is goosed, had exactly the same problem with my R11
