hi guys

I'm after the Window Regulator Mechanism for my polo 6n2 X reg 1.4 tdi.

both side of the windows are not working and i dunno whats wrong with it... so just thinking changing the whole unit would work rite ?

so if you have both side or either a side let me know.

or any help with a way to check or fit would be great ..

Are they just dead no noise from the motor? Fuse OK? Replaced the switches? Check the wiring in the flexy tube between the door and frame? If they're making a noise but not moving the glass, the plastic clips on the glass clamps break (repair kits on ebay) or the cables snap (repair kits on ebay) I've just repaired the drivers mechanism on my Ibiza (same unit as Polo) the glass would come down OK but would'nt go up, the motor kept making "Clunking" noises, found the self tapping screws that hold the motor to the mechanism had worked loose and would'nt grip intothe plastic ,so replaced them with M3 nuts & bolts now works great

If you do need to replace the mechanism 3 or 5 Door and there are two different motors fitted 2 or 12 pin depending if you have the "one touch" switches

hey dude thanks for the reply. mine dose click.. also the clips are still on the windows i really have no idea on it to say the truth... and mine are the 12 pins as i pulled it out to have a look so its the one touch..

could you send me a link to show me what i should be looking for ?
