MK2F Polo 1300 Genesis.

Featured Replies

Hi, for sale is my third Polo Coupe.

Firstly, it needs a new fuel tank fitting, which is my reason for selling. It isn't too bad when kept below the £20 sort of level, so is perfectly driveable.

The car has done me very well indeed, I have had it around 18 months, and have probably put about 20,000 miles on it, the only trouble ever being the clutch cable which snapped.

It is by no means a minter, as can bee seen in the pictures, it has a rust scab on the passenger door, a small scab on the bootlid, none of which have got any worse in my ownership. It also has a dent in the passenger front wing.

Mechanically, it is very sound. It needs an outer cambelt cover, it was missing when I bought it, and for some reason I never put one on it.

Interior is clean, certainly hasn't been smoked in during my time, no burns or holes or anything. Sunroof works fine.

I fitted a Phil J 80/60 lowering kit along with a full polybush kit, and top mounts about a year ago, which makes it great fun to drive. I have carried out numerous services on it, have replaced the cambelt around 10,000 miles ago, along with the water pump, replaced handbrake cable, rear brake shoes, front brake pads, clutch cable, and lots of other little bits, all of which I have reciepts for.

The tyres are about 200 miles old (literally), and it has a very good spare.

I am including a spare distributor which I bought, and a cool roof rack.

Fairly low mileage, check in the pics for excact.

It is MOT'd until January, and taxed until the end of this month.

I am after £350.

Location is Bedford/ Milton Keynes area. Please phone Will on 07780537830.

Many thanks, Will.
