1993 Indian Red Mk3 Polo AFH

Featured Replies

Hi, I fancy a change so my mk3 AFH is up for sale. It's completely stock apart from the engine, GT gearbox and arb blocks (G-Laderseite). I put the AFH in it back in January accompanied by the GT gearbox, the engine has a new cambelt and waterpump, cleaned and painted the gearbox and engine itself, new sump gasket, new oil filter and a few various other parts. I decided to run it on standard injection as carbs would've worked out a little more expensive at the time, it was just easier too. The shell is on 109k, but the engine only had around 75k on which is a bonus. There is only 1 bit of rust on it, and thats on the inside of the tailgate so hardly worth worrying about. Due to parking on a shopping centre carpark (for work) its gathered a few dings and dents. The worst of it is the drivers wing, i have tried to take photos of the damage, there's also a pretty long key mark down the side of the drivers rear quarter and door :-/ and some lacquer peel on the bonnet. Indian red mk3s get hit the worst for lacquer peel for some reason.... Another thing to add is it has the sought after Scirocco GT2 front seats in to match the genesis rears, i wouldn't choose any other seats for a mk3 after having a few pairs of these and these are the cleanest pair i've ever seen, no bolster sag or wear to the material. All that needs doing is a bit of attention to the body work and you have a minter, the hard works already done  ! I have really enjoyed driving it, surprises so many people ha.
