mig welding gas in Northamptonshire?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

ill have my new mig welder pretty soon but I dont no the best place to get the gas. I'm in corby and pretty close to a boc depo but I hear there generally pretty expensive so I'm trying to avoid them.

Any suggestions guys?

cheers

Check for a local adams gas stockist, as they don't charge bottle rent, I found them to be cheapest

Look for hobbyweld suppliers too, only gas supplier nearby me so have been using it quite a bit, £50 deposit on bottle and £30 refills thereafter @ 137 BAR

Its not the cheapest I don't think but it does the job. I'm looking to get a co2 regulator and start using pub gas as it's insanely cheap, usually £10-15 for a bottle double the size of hobbyweld, not as good, though

I'm in northants and use Albee for my gas...

argon/co2 mix in their largest bottle...i found them really nice to deal with and pretty sure there must be a supplier near you....most likely it'll be cambridge as a supplier- 38mins from you roughly. :-D
