Not updated in a while got some banded steels off a mate, also just finished smoothing the bumpers in primer waiting to be sprayed, done the stud conversion also, and got some towing eyes put on, and a bit of camber.

Also found out that the previous owner has put the wrong bottom arm on the drivers side which has pulled the drivers side wheel in an inch, put the passanger wheel sticks out an inch :(

Let me know what you think guys

Loads of poke, what you gonna do? like the steelies

Not a fan of the steelies, poke way to much!

Going to roll the arches and drop it, there will be poke but just not as much, coilovers and painting the steels is the next job.

Decided to take a different approach with the polo backed the camber of took all the spacers off to bring the wheels in a bit rolled the arches, stripped the interior not fully stripped yet though, decided to paint the car in primer (not to everyone’s liking but its a little different) just finished painting the wheels, made a custom 60mm roll cage and made a strut brace, got hold of a new engine ready for fitting towards the end of the year, got the spare Nitrous Express system we had lying round in the garage and colour coded the bottle ready for when the new engine goes in :) a few pics -

Cheers mate, yeah when i put the new engine in it will be fitted to that, just thought i might as well spray the bottle whilst i was spraying everything else, might fit it to the polo engine for a laugh just to see if it blows it up haha.

Ye I'd Deffo do that see how long it lasts :-) Haha

  • Author

Well I have something else to fix know, thought I had snapped the clutch cable the other day, so went to Unipart and got a new one fitted it and the clutch still felt sloppy and wasn’t engaging gears properly had a look underneath only to find I had snapped the pedal box, so tonight’s job strip the pedal box out run a weld down the crack as a temp fix, until I can get my hands on a new pedal box.
